Chris provides Applied Food Sciences (AFS) with 20 years of technical experience in strategic product development within the food, beverage, and supplement industries. Increasing product value through nutrition and health science is her primary area of focus at AFS. Prior to AFS, Chris was part of the management team at Avebe, where she served as Technical Director, bridging the gap between research and development and marketing. Previous to Avebe, Chris was a Project Manager for Cargill Foods, where she played a role in both the engineering and operations of their food processing facilities globally. Chris holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University, and a Chemical Engineering degree from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana.
